The Encoding Boot Camp track is for new encoders or those who want a refresher on the basics. We will cover a core of topics from the newly revised Encoding Workshop, including lectures, hands-on exercises in our training database, and a copy of the manual material covered during the two pre-conference sessions. Please Note: Attendees will need to provide their own laptop computer for the pre-conference sessions. Monday AM Session includes: • The COM Table • Encode Programs and Requirements • Matching Courses and Course Lists Monday PM Session includes: • ANDs and ORs • Course Condition Codes Conference Sessions: • uAchieve Audit Processing • The Grade Table • Duplicate Logic and the Repeat Table • Requirement and Sub-requirement Types • Reserved Condition Codes • The String Table • The Convert Table • Course Sharing and Markers Thursday PM Session: • Exceptions Post-Conference 4-Hour Virtual Session, depending on time: • Follow-up questions from the conference, • Review of institutional curriculum and encoding scenarios • The HUNGRY elective module from the newly revised Encoding Workshop Attendance and participation in all sessions listed above are required to apply to the uAchieve Degree Audit Encoder certification training requirement.
