Academic records and advising professionals have a deep understanding of how the software they use supports their institutions' business processes, but they don't always know how to provide feedback or describe desired product enhancements in the way that their IT staff (or CollegeSource staff!) needs. We will discuss strategies for communicating with information technology professionals when proposing ideas, how to document business requirements, and what you can do to help ensure that what gets delivered is not different than what you asked for!
