USC financial aid allows for undergraduate funding up to 144 units of earned credit. Due to program complexities, transfer students require an adjustment in cases where more free electives were accepted in transfer than can be applied to program requirements. This session illustrates how to use advanced REFVAL processing techniques to automate the increase of this unit threshold to allow more funding for additional units.
