With the majority of students bringing in some sort of transfer credit and many states enacting structured state-wide transfer programs that need to be followed for compliance purposes, there is often a need for more complex Transfer Articulation (TA) encoding in uAchieve. This session will provide an in-depth look at how to fully utilize TA and degree audit encoding to automate many transfer processes at the institution. Topics will include a review of advanced TA encoding in the IREF and transfer tables, how to automate a number of different types of structured transfer programs, and how to set up non-traditional TA rules.

uAchieve 5.0 introduced a change to how course catalog data is supplied to uAchieve Degree Audit, Planner, and Schedule Builder. In this session, we will provide a brief overview of how course data is sourced from TES and integrated into the application. Attendees will then be introduced to the uAchieve Course Management table and learn how it can be used to supply uAchieve with home course data not available in TES or not formatted within TES as required for use in Planner. Condition codes are a powerful tool in the encoding arsenal. They allow courses to be given certain attributes that can be used throughout the degree audit encoding. Most condition codes are defined by the user. However, a set of condition codes are reserved for very specific processing in the audits. This session will review the 20 reserved condition codes and when and how to use those reserved condition codes in the encoding.

Join us for an overview of uAchieve TES Mode, the integration between uAchieve Self-Service and TES, the Transfer Evaluation System. Learn how TES Mode can speed up the transfer process by routing evaluation tasks to the TES Evaluation Tracker workflow directly from uAchieve and by building rules with pre-populated data from TES. We will review what you need to get started using TES Mode, including several new configuration options introduced in uAchieve 5.1. A demo will be provided, showing how to look up course descriptions and build rules in uAchieve, and illustrating the lifecycle of an evaluation request initiated via TES Mode.

Join California Baptist University to learn how they tackle the maintenance of almost 500,000 TES equivalences across 200+ institutions! We will demonstrate our process using the Course Change Explorer, Equivalency Batch Editor, and Equivalency Manager tools and features in TES.

This presentation will give examples and tips on how to use switches to turn on/off requirements and utilize course lists to satisfy state General Education policies, including waivers for transfer students.

This session will overview the resources available to help you grow your knowledge and become an expert user of TES, Transferology, and uAchieve. Attendees will be introduced to the CollegeSource Support Center, which provides 24/7 access to step-by-step user guides, videos, and other resources to help you answer your questions. Additionally, learn how to connect with CollegeSource staff members for further help and training. CollegeSource provides customers with free and paid learning opportunities such as webinars, certifications, and mentorships designed to help you excel at using our software.

The Transfer Team in the Registrar's Office at WCU uses TES as a tool for communication, documentation, and data-informed decision-making. Every department head, program director, and coordinator at WCU has a TES account that is used to facilitate course equivalencies. We use our Course Equivalency Database (a continually evolving spreadsheet) to facilitate which courses should be sent. With the fluidity of transfer courses, communication, and documentation is vital.

This session will cover how a team of functional uAchieve users with little to no formal IT background develop testing plans for uAchieve, SelfService, and SIS upgrades. Encoders from UMNTC find their test cases, write their test scripts, document their testing progress, and update their testing plans should gaps be identified.
